The Spanish football federation (RFEF) has finally approved of a starting date for Primera Iberdrola, the Spanish Women’s top league and it is set to start on the weekend of the 3rd to 4th October.
The first round will se an El Clásico in the first official season for Real Madrid.

However Rayo Vallecano will not play on the opening day. The league has agreed to postpone Rayo’s first match. This after the Madrid team waited to start their pre-season until there was an official health protocol. Therefore starting their season preparations later than everyone else.
