International stars Tameka and Kirsty Yallop announce birth of baby girl

Matildas midfielder Tameka Yallop (former Butt) and her wife Kirsty Yallop have announced on social media the birth of their daughter Harley Rose who was born on August 21.

The 29-year-old Tameka has played 82 senior matches for Australia and is currently belonging to the Norwegian Toppserien club Klepp IL however due to COVID-19 she have been absent for a long period of time and been home in Australia. The club though took to social media to congratulate the fresh parents and welcome the newborn girl to their club:

Tameka’s wife Kirsty who gave birth to their daughter has also been a successful player and is a former international midfielder for New Zealand with whom she has made 90 senior appearances and she took part with the “Football Ferns” in two World Cups (2011 & 2015) and two Olympics (2008 & 2012).

The 33-year-old Kirsty has, on a club level, also represented Klepp IL among other teams such as the W-League clubs Melbourne Victory, Brisbane Roar and Swedish clubs Mallbackens IF, Vittsjö GIK and Kristianstads DFF.

The couple got married in February 2019 and then both took Kirsty’s surname Yallop.

Earlier this year, in March, they revealed that they were expecting a baby together.
